During this activity, each student has a turn being celebrated by sharing about themselves with classmates and families while practicing important public speaking skills. Their classmates then write thoughtful compliments and kind messages to the featured student, strengthening writing skills while learning the power of encouragement and empathy.

As the celebrations continue throughout the year, teachers have loved watching students grow more confident, proud, and connected to one another. Having families join these special moments makes the experience even more meaningful and memorable.
